Artificial Floral Arrangements
Flowers are an absolutely fantastic way to bring some life to an empty room, or to make a wedding or a big party just perfect. But working with real, live flowers does have quite a few pitfalls, and can actually ruin a big party, or worse, your big day. Artificial floral arrangements look just as good as real flowers, but with some key benefits.
If you go with real flowers, you have to keep them in the perfect environment. Not too hot, not too cold, water for all the flowers. It can be very time consuming, and if a small mistake is made, it can mean disaster for the flowers. And you have to order the flowers at the exact time so you have enough time to set them up, but not enough time for them to die!
That's why I'm so fond of artificial floral arrangements. They look just like real flowers, but without the hassle of keeping them in water to keep them alive. They make "fake flowers" look like almost any real flower, so the possibilities are endless.
Some companies are even starting to make artificial floral arrangements that smell and feel like real flowers too! The stem of the flower would be made out of an absorbent stick, and you place the fake flowers into a scented liquid and let them smell away.
They're starting to experiment with new textures too so when people feel and smell the fake flowers, they'll think they're real.
Silk flowers are my personal favorite. My kids have allergies, and having fake silk flowers in the house eliminates the those problems for my children. Artificial floral arrangements are always hypoallergenic.
Fake flowers make a great gift to give as well. It's easy to send them through the mail because you don't have to worry about them getting crushed, or dying due to a lack of water. And if you want to decorate your entire house with artificial floral arrangements, you can buy fake trees, fake plants, fake anything! You can have an entire forest in your home without having to water or take care of it.
They make great centerpieces for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and all your family and friends will rave about it. Sure, nothing beats nature, but if you don't have time to tend to a garden, but you still want a garden, fake flowers are for you.
